These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Lazervault ("Lazervault", "we", "us", or "our") covering the Lazervault mobile application, website, and related services (together, the "Services"). Lazervault provides a technology platform that connects you to regulated financial partners; where money is held, transmitted, or converted, that activity is delivered together with licensed partners identified below. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By creating an account, tapping "I agree", or using any part of the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.
To comply with Nigerian financial regulations and our partners' requirements, we (and our partners) must verify your identity before you can transact. This is known as Know Your Customer ("KYC").
You may use the Services only for lawful, personal or business purposes, including to:
You must not, and must not attempt to:
We may freeze, suspend, or close accounts, and report activity to regulators or law enforcement, where we reasonably suspect a breach.
Your Lazervault balance represents electronic value ("e-money") redeemable for funds. Customer funds are safeguarded with our regulated partners.
Lazervault integrates licensed and specialist partners to deliver parts of the Services. Your use of those features may be subject to the partner's own terms:
We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or independent services of third parties, but we will help you resolve issues that arise through our platform.
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access where we are required to by law, where we reasonably suspect a breach of these Terms or fraud, or to protect you, other users, or the platform. You may stop using the Services at any time. Certain obligations (for example those relating to prohibited activity, liability, and outstanding amounts) survive termination.
You can request deletion of your account from within the app or by contacting us. Deletion follows a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel the request and recover your account. After the grace period, your data is deleted or anonymised, except where we must retain records to meet legal, regulatory, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution obligations. You must withdraw any remaining balance before deletion completes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You agree to first raise any dispute with us so we can try to resolve it amicably. Where a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria, without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer protections available to you.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our Services, partners, or the law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
